Grandma rocks in the nursery
Mom helped with the nursery. That is to say, Mom made the nursery possible. Go Mom!
The nursery began life as an upstairs office with the ugliest wallpaper I've ever seen. Bleech. First, it had to be peeled off the wall, then the remaining glued side had to be wetted and scraped off. Needless to say, Mom did all of the truly nasty work, for which she should earn a medal. After the wet stuff had been scraped off, there was this icky glue residue left, which Mom eliminated with vinegar. Then she cleaned everything up, bought spackling, primer and brushes and rollers, and spackled and primed the walls a very happy yellow.
I helped a little bit... So, why are there any pictures of me?
Because Mom actually posed me. The picture I took of her is an honest-to-God action shot.
Go Mom! Many thanks from all four of us...
